How We Handle Patient Privacy

Sharing a personal health experience is a significant decision. Our process is built so that patients stay in control of what is said about them.

  • Written consent first: Nothing is published until the patient has read the final version and approved it.
  • Identifying details removed: Names and specifics are withheld or changed whenever a patient prefers.
  • Consent can be withdrawn: A patient may ask us to remove their story at any time, for any reason.
  • Individual results vary: One person's experience does not predict another's. These accounts are educational, not a promise of outcome.
